Abraham Lincoln , the harmonizer of all men , Americans , past and present . The notion that Lincoln could have had the opportunity to peacefuly negotiate with enemys of the union , is luaghable at best . Lincoln , in todays society ( i suspect ), may not be the guy to close down a strategicaly placed prison , overflowing with our ememies . Ronald Regan , his first order of buisness was to loosen oil regulations , thus naturally stimulating the ecomnomy . Barack Obama , his first order of buisness , to pander to his far left base by issuing an Executive order to close the detention center at Guantanamo bay , Cuba . George Washington , fired the first musket and fired off the first cannon blast to begin the battle of Yorktown . If his first action as President is any indication of how Obama will Govern , we may become a far more weaker country than we have just become today . President Obama could stand to learn from these past Presidents on how important some of your first acts really can be .
A four month prosecutorial hold has been issued at Gitmo . In one year the Executive order will effectively halt all operations at this valuble prison . American Soldiers , airmen , navy , and marines should begin an all out hunter-capture campaign , in the hope that intel can be gained before these terrorist animals could be released , or worse , tried in U.S. civilian courts . The notion that Constitutional rights could be applied to prisoners captured on foreign soil , confounds me . Imagine a man like Khalid Sheik Muhhamed walking out of court , onto a New York street because of a courtroom technicality . This idea un-nerves me , and as an American I dont like feeling un-nerved . A majority of voters may have voted away some of our liberty , did Washington fight for that?
